John's Quake Launcher 1.0
*------------------------
If you're anything like me, you'll probably have so many aliases and bindings
in your config files that you've had to split them into single and multi
player config files. When this happened to me I decided pretty quickly that
I wasn't going to go into Explorer and drags files around everytime I wanted
to play Quake (and I'm pretty lazy about typing in command line parameters). So,
here's my launcher - and its my first Delphi program by the way so don't be
too hard on me if it crashes or anything. Let me know though, and I'll see
if I can fix it.
Basically you can choose maps, mods and configs before starting Quake. It's
pretty simple to use.
A couple of points - if you select an item and then decide you
don't want anything from that list, just click on the selected item again
and it'll go away!! And, if you're running in 256 Color mode (like myself) and
the animation bothers you (changing pallettes!!) just click on it and it'll stop.
It looks good in Hi-color or True color.
When it first starts up, a QLAUNCH.INI file will be created in your Windows
directory so when (and if :) you uninstall it again, remember to remove
this file as well.
Hope it's useful to ya.

BTW, if anyone could tell me a possible reason why the program pauses for about
5 seconds when you select the root directory of any drive in the Setup screen,
I'd most appreciate it!! It hasn't caused any problems but is a bother.
